About Our Deer Hunts

You simply will not find higher quality Illinois whitetail deer hunting and you will not find a hunt, of this caliber, at such a reasonable rate (especially in Pike County). Our guided hunts take place on over 2500 acres of farm ground, CRP, and timber lands. These properties have seen relatively few hunters over the past few years. We will continue to limit the number of hunters so that our leases keep producing the biggest and best trophy racks in the county.

Please keep in mind that we only offer 8 deer hunts per week. This results in more than 300 acres per deer hunter and keeps the hunting pressure very low. Your chance of seeing, and actually harvesting, a trophy class whitetail with us is as high as you will find.

Illinois Bowhunting

Pike County is arguably the #1 spot in the nation for trophy-class whitetails. At Eagle Valley Outfitters, we specialize in archery deer hunts. Our properties we lease, in Pike County, are strictly managed to produce big bucks (140" minimum). We monitor the deer and watch our trail cams throughout the off-season. When the season comes around, we know where to set up our stands and where to place our bowhunters.

Firearm Deer Hunts

We do specialize in whitetail bowhunts, but we also take a very limited number of gun hunters every year. For Illinois gun hunts, there are two shotgun seasons and one muzzleloader season. Our firearm hunts are second to none and we only plan on taking about 12 gun hunters this season. By limiting the number of muzzleloader and shotgun hunters, we can ensure that those trophy whitetails stay on our properties. Again, spots are very limited so book your hunt early.
